Key responsibilities
- Managing the z/OS and preferable Z/VM, and zLinux operating systems
- Has good experience in multiple LPARS and Sysplex environment.
- Configuring IOCDs Definitions.
- RACF Configuration and Administration.
- Performance/tuning & reporting and software administration.
- Experience in Mainframe Omegamon monitor tools for Z/OS, DB2, and
CICS.
- Eexperience in mainframe storage management, administration system
backup/restore, disaster recovery planning and HSM/SMS.
- Practical hands-on experience in IBM mainframe hardware; Z System, I/O
(DASD, Tape).
- Experience in using RMF to monitor workload performance and resource
utilization.
- SMP/E software installation and maintenance.
Desired candidate profile
Minimum 8 years' experience in IBM Mainframe Operating Systems.
Must have a thorough knowledge of JES2, SDSF, GTF trace, EREP, ICKDSF,
IDCAMS, DFSMS, PDS/E, WMQ, WAS, CICS, NetView, and DB2.
