Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ventilation Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Air Conditioning and Ventilation or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing ventilation systems for various applications, including commercial, industrial, and residential projects. This role involves working closely with project teams to ensure that ventilation systems meet performance, efficiency, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ventilation System Design:

Design and develop ventilation systems for new and existing buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and system simulations to optimize ventilation performance.
Select appropriate equipment and materials based on project requirements and budget constraints.
Project Management:

Manage ventilation projects from conceptual design through installation and commissioning.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate ventilation systems into overall building designs.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or changes that arise during construction.
System Optimization and Troubleshooting:

Conduct performance assessments of existing ventilation systems and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ventilation system performance and efficiency.
Implement energy-saving measures and technologies to enhance system sustainability.
Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure ventilation systems meet all local and national building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and installation guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and project changes.
Client Interaction and Support:

Provide technical support and recommendations to clients regarding ventilation system design and operation.
Conduct presentations and discussions with clients to explain system benefits and features.
Research and Development:

Stay up-to-date with advancements in ventilation technology and industry best practices.
Participate in the development and implementation of innovative ventilation solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Air Conditioning and Ventilation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in ventilation system design and implementation.
Proficient in HVAC design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC modeling software).
Strong understanding of ventilation system components, including fans, ductwork, and air handling units.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to ventilation.
Preferred Skills:

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Experience with energy modeling and sustainability assessments.
Familiarity with advanced ventilation technologies and smart building systems.
Working Conditions:
