Key responsibilities
Technologist for the production of paints and varnishes. The task of the technologist is to improve paints and enamels, reduce costs, find the best components, and so on. A technologist should preferably have experience in working in this field and it is desirable that there is an appropriate education.
Paint Technologist is responsible for liaising with suppliers, customers, manufacturers and factory production managers while performing their specific duties. They are involved in checking various paint products for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions
Desired candidate profile
Should have proper knowledge of Paint & Primers Formulation.
Studying of Various Samples.
Should be familiar with instruments like Ford cup, Glossy Meter, DFT Gauge, Hegeman Gauge etc.
Should have knowledge regarding Paint Tinting/ Matching visually or with the help of spectrophotometer.
Should Have appropriate skills to reduce product cost without effecting quality.
