Job responsibilities: technician should be able to deal with Petrochemicals
materials such as: -

1. Propyl heptanol, Phthalic Anhydride, Pure Terephthalic acid, Ethyl Hexanol and others

materials.

1. Expert of Producing and Esterification process of plasticizers such as:

 Di Octyl Phthalate (DOP)
 Di isodecyl phthalate (DIDP)
 Bis(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate (DOTP)
 Di(2-Propylhexyl) Phthalate (DPHP)
 Diisononyl phthalate (DINP)

1. Carrying out Esterification reactions, Distillation vacuum, Stripping Reactions and

Neutralization reactions using NaOH solution.

• Commissioning and startup of plasticizers and solvents unit.
• Mechanical inspection of piping, tanks and equipment.
• Participated in instruments inspection.
• Experienced in using heating systems such as Oil Boilers & Steam Boilers.
• Deal with equipment’s such as Pumps, Reactors, Separators and Heat Exchangers during

process production to solve any problem.

• Work on developing plans that lead to an increase in production rates at the lowest costs and

operate the equipment with the highest efficiency.

• General supervision of production and follow-up to ensure the achievement of product

required.

• Addressing the difficulties which encounter the production processes and finding alternative

solutions.

• Responsible for recording the daily and monthly production reports and consumption rates.
• Studying inspection reports of the Quality Control of daily production and taking the

necessary to treat any diffraction.

• Follow-up sales management to identify customer needs and solve problems related to the

product.

• Work on developing new production lines and connect with the directors of the relevant

departments and follow up their implementation according to technical methods.

• Ensure the implementation of maintenance plans in order to maintain the efficiency of

equipment during operation.

Skills
Very good in verbal and written communication in English Languages.
Must have excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills,
and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification
Minimum Diploma Degree in Chemical science or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in plasticizer industry.
