We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Director to lead the R&D lab The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the coatings industry and a proven track record of success in developing innovative products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the R&D team to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Oversee the formulation, testing, and evaluation of coatings for automotive, plastic, and wooden applications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Provide technical support and expertise to customers and internal teams.
Develop and implement R&D strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.

Requirements
More than 20 years of experience in the coatings industry, with a focus on automotive, plastic, and wooden coatings.
Proven experience in a leadership role within R&D.
Strong technical knowledge of coating formulations and applications.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and inspire a team of researchers and scientists.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with companies such as Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Kansai Nerolac, Nippon Paints, AkzoNobel, etc., is preferred.
