Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Evaluator to assess the technical aspects of our products or services. The Technical Evaluator will be responsible for conducting thorough evaluations, analyzing technical specifications, and providing valuable insights to improve product quality and performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of products or services to assess technical performance and compliance with specifications.
Analyze technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and performance data, to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to address technical issues and implement solutions.
Develop testing protocols and methodologies to ensure accurate and consistent evaluation of products or services.
Generate detailed reports documenting evaluation findings, recommendations, and proposed action plans.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders regarding product development, testing, and quality assurance processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to the products or services being evaluated.
Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions to communicate evaluation results and recommendations effectively.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in technical evaluation, product testing, or quality assurance, preferably in a related industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and identify performance trends.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in evaluation processes.
Proficiency in using technical tools and software for analysis and documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Certification or training in quality assurance methodologies or product testing protocols is a plus.

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the technical area of the Refining, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industries with a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 20 years' experience without a bachelor's degree
