Responsibilities

1. Developing high-quality and detailed designs with developers, architects, PO
2. Identifying technical and functional risk and conducting mitigation action planning
3. Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback for continuous

improvement

1. Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality
2. Lead by example by coding according to best practices and standards
3. Drives the team to excellent quality, customer satisfaction and efficiency
4. Drives quality through peer reviews, test driven, unit testing, acceptance criteria
5. Participates in Architecture Review Committee

Requirements

1. 10+ Years’ experience in Java development
2. Preferably Oracle Java certified developers or Spring Certified developers
3. Excellent understanding of design patterns, security principles and coding standards
4. Good Experience in building microservices and using containers
5. Ability to coach and mentor team members (note the tech lead operates in an agile team

and is not necessarily the manager of the team)

1. Has excellent knowledge of SQL and data structures
2. Understands infrastructure and network
3. Excellent Unit testing and good quality attitude
4. Communicate well as part of an agile team
5. Quick learner and can grasp functional and technical concepts quickly
6. Prior finance/accounting/banking/debt domain can be an advantage
7. Tech skill set: Java 17, Spring 5/6 Core, Spring Boot 2.x, Spring Cloud, Kafka, Unit Testing,

Design Patterns, Docker, Kubernetes, Domain Driven Design
