Job Description:

We are seeking a Tax Manager Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in Direct Tax to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience working with a reputed Tax firm, with a focus on direct taxation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of Direct Tax compliance for clients, including tax computations, filings, assessments, and audits.
Provide advisory services related to tax planning, structuring, and regulatory compliance.
Liaise with tax authorities and represent clients during tax assessments and audits.
Review and ensure accuracy in tax returns, TDS filings, and tax-related documentation.
Conduct internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits as required.
Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents.
Stay updated with the latest changes in tax laws and regulations.
Support senior management in strategic tax planning and reporting.

Key Requirements:

Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter completed)
Minimum 7 years of experience in a Tax and Audit firm
Strong expertise in Direct Tax laws and procedures
Sound knowledge of TDS, GST, and other Indian tax compliances
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and client-handling skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
