Key responsibilities
Job Summary
The Supply / Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient procurement, inventory
control, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies. The role
ensures that inventory is accurately managed, deliveries are completed on time, and logistics
operations support business and project requirements while maintaining cost efficiency, quality, and
compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily supply chain and logistics operations.
- Ensure the timely procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate deliveries to project sites and operational locations to support business
requirements.
- Monitor logistics schedules and resolve operational issues to minimize delays.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with the procurement team, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of
goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving delivery or quality issues.
- Verify purchase orders, delivery documents, and receiving records for accuracy.
Transportation & Distribution
- Supervise transportation activities to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Coordinate vehicle scheduling, dispatch, and delivery operations.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure logistics and warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety standards,
and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory, logistics, and procurement records.
- Prepare inventory reports, logistics performance reports, and other operational documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise warehouse and logistics personnel, ensuring productivity and adherence to company
standards.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Other Duties
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
- Assist Management with operational planning and resource allocation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Desired candidate profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a
related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or inventory
management, including supervisory experience.
- Experience in construction, engineering, retail, or industrial operations is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, inventory, warehousing, and logistics operations.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory or ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet operational deadlines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be measured based on:
- Timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Accuracy of inventory records and stock control.
- Compliance with procurement and logistics procedures.
- Efficient warehouse and transportation operations.
- Cost control and reduction of inventory losses or stock discrepancies.
- Accuracy and timeliness of operational reports.
- Team productivity and adherence to safety standards
