Duties and responsibilities
 Writing software in Java/Scala for Kafka/ /Spark stack applications.
 Expertise in developing enterprise scale, real-time applications
 Understand and translate business and product questions into -high level design
documents.
 Have world-class coding standards and software development processes
Minimal Requirements
 Education: Completed MS in Computer Science.
 Critical thinker, detail and priority oriented.
 Ability to explain complex subjects in a simpler way, targeting them to the audience
 Organizational and communication skills
 8+ years of progressive experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
 MUST: (5+ years) knowledge in one or more of the following languages Java, Scala,
 MUST: (5+ years) in multi-threaded applications; Concurrency, Parallelism, Locking
Strategies and Merging Datasets.
 MUST: (5+ years) in Software architecture, Design Patterns, Data Structures and
Algorithms. Must understand operational and memory complexity.
 MUST: (5+ years) in Memory Management, Garbage Collection & Performance Tuning.
 MUST: (3+ years) working with Apache Big Data stack; Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Flink,
etc...
 MUST: (+3 years) of experience and working knowledge of distributed/cluster computing
concepts.
 MUST: (+5 years) experience in Linux environments; strong knowledge of shell scripting
and file systems.
