Key responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Executive with expertise in
payroll management to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing
the full spectrum of human resources functions, with a primary focus on payroll administration.
You will work closely with leadership to ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies,
policies, and processes, while managing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with
relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
o Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accurate
and timely payments.
o Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and other
payroll-related legal requirements.
o Manage and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring clear communication with
employees regarding their pay and benefits.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes to payroll laws, tax rates, and
benefits that impact payroll.
Employee Benefits Administration:
o Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance,
retirement plans, and other employee perks.
o Work closely with employees to address benefits-related queries and ensure
smooth enrollment, claims, and changes.
o Coordinate with external providers to ensure benefits are aligned with
company policies.
HR Policies & Compliance:
o Ensure company HR practices are aligned with current labor laws and
regulations, particularly in relation to compensation and payroll.
o Conduct audits and prepare reports to ensure compliance with all relevant
payroll and employment regulations.
o Assist in developing and updating HR policies related to compensation,
payroll, and benefits.
Employee Records & Documentation:
o Maintain accurate employee records, including personal data, pay history,
benefits enrollment, and other HR documentation.
o Ensure timely updates to employee records, particularly during onboarding,
changes in employment status, or changes in compensation.
HR Systems & Reporting:
o Utilize HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to input, update, and
maintain payroll and employee data.
o Generate and analyze HR and payroll reports for senior management,
providing insights into trends, compliance, and operational efficiency.
o Provide ad-hoc reporting and payroll-related analysis as needed.
Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations:
o Support recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives, including job postings,
interviews, and new hire onboarding.
o Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries,
including payroll, benefits, and policy inquiries.
o Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict
resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
Performance Management & Training:
o Support the performance appraisal and development process, working with
managers to address performance issues and career development.
o Assist in identifying training and development needs, focusing on improving
HR operations, compliance, and payroll accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a significant focus on
payroll administration.
Strong knowledge of payroll software, HRIS systems, and payroll processing tools.
In-depth understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and employee benefits.
Proven experience in employee relations, benefits administration, and performance
management.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage
employees at all levels.
Desired candidate profile
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR.
Experience with payroll platforms (e.g., Odoo, Workday, Paychex).
Knowledge of international payroll regulations (if applicable).
Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
