We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to fill the position of Sr. Accountant with expertise in export documentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, managing accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and possessing a strong understanding of export documentation processes.
The Sr. Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager and will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment. We offer opportunities for advancement for the right candidate, and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities

Financial Management:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end financial closures.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial reports for management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.

Compliance and Regulation:

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and other financial regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Export Documentation:

• Manage all aspects of export documentation, including preparing invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and customs officials to ensure timely clearance of goods.
• Verify and ensure accuracy of export documentation to comply with international trade regulations.
• Handle export licensing requirements and maintain records of export transactions.

Financial Analysis and Planning:

• Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Remove RODTP from online portal and sell it to required clients

Required Skills:

• bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, Inter CA/ Inter ACCA
• Proven experience as an accountant with export documentation knowledge
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and work experience in Tally ERP & Zoho.
