·       Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
·       Ability to advise developers on operations, scripts, and triggers to improve database access, and should be familiar with T-SQL scripting languages
·       Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
·       Install and configure SQL Server Standalone and Cluster instances following MS best practices
·       SQL Server Upgrade and Migration designing, planning and implementation
·       Experience on High Availability features (AlwaysOn Availability Group, Failover clustering)
·       Implement and administer Disaster Recovery using AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Mirroring.
·       Experience on SQL Server Profiler, Kerberos configuration Manager, Group Managed Service accounts
·       SQL Server Patching
·       Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
·       Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
·       Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
·       Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
·       Proactive Database health check
·       Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
·       Set and maintain database standards.
·       Manage database access and implement and ensure high security of databases
·       Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
·       Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
·       Provide suggestions for improvements and solutions.
·       Ability to explore new tools and technology
·       Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services for SQL Server
·       Experience on various SQL Server versions from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2019

• Masters/ Engineering/Bachelor’s degree in computers or equivalent preferred
• 8+ years’ experience as SQL Server Database Administrator
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Effective communication with knowledge transfer and training the junior teams is required.
• Must be able to work effectively both in a team environment and individually.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with a positive attitude.
• Microsoft Certification on SQL Server and Microsoft AZURE cloud services
