Good command with manufacturer, supplier, well versed in sourcing activities (sourcing exp in API , solvents, pharmaceutical API,raw materials, packaging for pharma)
Do sourcing as per pharma guidelines.
Good connect with suppliers, do inspection, field visit whenever necessary
Arrange meeting in INDIA with suppliers

Procurement of APIs / RM, PM, Eng. Goods/ Capex items, Excipients for the Finished Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Factories across PAN India locations

• Sourcing of raw materials and packaging materials for third-party/ Loan License Outsourcing
• Co-ordination with all the departments like Production/QA/QC for smooth functioning
• Negotiation with vendors for prices of all Bulk Drugs, Excipients and Capex items
• Preparing budget for the entire department and ensuring that the least variance happens between the budget vs actuals.
• Being updated on current market trends with competitors, suppliers, and maintaining procurement pipelines with alternative Vendors
• Ensuring corporate standards are maintained in accordance with required margins.
• Developing and coordinating new policies and procedures regarding procurement processes

• Science/ Pharma graduate having experience in procurement of Raw material/ APIs, Packaging material Eng. Goods/ Capex items, Excipients for the Finished Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Plant
• Experience in sourcing Pharma RM & PM for Contract Manufacturing/ Loan License Outsourcing will be an added advantage
• Should have good negotiation skills
• Should have good relationship/ networking skills with vendors

Excellent verbal communication in english
