Role Summary
The Solar Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mini solar power plants. The role requires strong technical expertise in solar systems, site execution, and project management, with readiness for frequent travel and site work.

Key Responsibilities
Design and simulate solar PV systems using PVsyst/CAD.

Conduct site assessments, prepare layouts, and plan installations.

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of solar modules, HT equipment, and DC/AC systems.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance.

Manage project documentation, reporting, and client communication.

Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members for smooth execution.

Education
BE BTech Diploma in Electrical Electronics Mechanical or Renewable Energy Engineering
Vocational qualifications acceptable NABCEP NSDC certifications preferred

Technical Skills
PVsyst mandatory AutoCAD Helioscope
HT equipment transmission lines DC AC systems
Site assessment installation testing commissioning QA QC
Knowledge of NEC IEC IEEE standards

Experience
Entry 3 to 4 years solar or electrical installation
Mid 4 plus years in power or solar commissioning
Senior large scale 1 MW plus solar project design and commissioning
