Key responsibilities
The primary objective of this position is developing and configuring ITAM modules to enhance TMG’s IT asset management capabilities. The position requires a skilled ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules, specifically Hardware Asset Management Pro and Software Asset Management Pro.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand IT asset management needs and challenges.
Design and implement ITAM processes and workflows to streamline asset management.
Configure ITAM modules for software license tracking, hardware asset management, and contract management.
Develop custom applications, integrations, scripts, and automation to extend ServiceNow's functionalities.
Create reports and dashboards to visualise IT asset data and optimise IT spend.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required for this Position:
Qualifications Required:
Extensive experience using the ServiceNow platform (5 years minimum) in a development and customisation role.
Proficiency in JavaScript, including server-side and client-side scripting (e.g., GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideForm).
Experience using ServiceNow's Flow Designer.
Strong understanding of IT asset management principles, procurement processes, and ITIL best practices.
Position Description:
Strong understanding of ServiceNow workflows, Business Rules, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Security/Access Control Rules.
Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, and other APIs for data synchronisation between ServiceNow and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, CMDB).
Familiarity with hardware asset lifecycle management, including asset discovery, barcode scanning, and asset tracking systems.
Knowledge of procurement processes, including vendor management, purchase order creation, and contract management within ServiceNow.
Proven experience developing and configuring ServiceNow ITAM modules, including Hardware Asset Management Pro and Software Asset Management Pro.
Strong capability in designing ITAM workflows and extending ServiceNow functionalities.
Proficiency in custom application development, integrations, scripting, and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.

Able to demonstrate that advice provided to the customer by TMG would - if acted upon – result in a measurable reduction in software spend and /or compliance risk for in-scope publishers when compared to the previous period (and not accounting for environmental changes such as acquisitions or organic growth)
Maintains current and relevant certification and industry knowledge
Participates in relevant industry forums, organisations and social media platforms.
