Purpose / Role:
Execute discipline engineering in design under the guidance of a Lead Engineer. May be responsible for the complete discipline scope for an assigned part of the project.
Work independently and supervise engineers & designers as required.
Assist in achieving discipline objectives.
Provide support for construction work packs development.

Requirement: 4E Minimum of 7 years of oil and gas experience with degree

Responsible for (Line): Grade 5 and Below

Key Aims and Objectives:
Ensure compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Promote the company’s engineering image internally and externally.
Ensure technical compliance with all design requirements.
Ensure all work is in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and procedures.
Prime Responsibilities and Duties:
Implement project Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
Administer Company policies and procedures; implement Client/Project policies where applicable.
Supervise discipline personnel and allocate work effectively.
Approve, check, and prepare design/engineering documentation.
Execute tasks as directed by Lead Engineer.
Provide training and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
Ensure adherence to relevant Codes, Standards, and Procedures.
Proficient in international codes and standards (ASME, API, BS, NFPA/ANSI, ASTM, etc.).
Prepare equipment data sheets, specifications, and RFQ technical and commercial evaluations (e.g., compressors, pumps).
Conduct engineering investigations, surveys, and studies as required.
Perform engineering calculations, including pump sizing.
Deliver accurate and technically sound engineering designs to meet project scope.
Contribute to cost estimates and execution plans.
Define and engineer interfaces with other disciplines.
Coordinate with other departments, disciplines, vendors, clients, etc

Technical proficiency in mechanical engineering.
Strong communication skills.
Understanding of multi-discipline engineering activities.
Ability to supervise a small team effectively.
Proficient in PV-Elites software.
Experience in power systems studies using SKM Tools (PTW Dapper & PTW Captor).
Good CAD drafting and checking skills
