Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks including oil changes, lubrication, and inspections to prevent equipment downtime and ensure safe operation.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of equipment to identify faults, failures, and potential safety hazards.
Order replacement parts and maintain inventory to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics and equipment operators as needed.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including documentation of parts used and hours worked.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Construction Equipment Mechanic or similar role, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components used in heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Certification from a technical school or equivalent training in heavy equipment mechanics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment parts and perform manual tasks as required
