Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong construction industry expertise to manage project‑level accounts and ensure compliance with company policies. The role requires hands‑on experience in construction accounting practices, advanced technical skills, and the ability to independently oversee the company’s accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage job costing, WIP (Work‑in‑Progress), project valuations, and revenue recognition (percentage of completion method).

Track and report project cost variances and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Handle project‑level accounts and construction‑specific financial operations.

Prepare and maintain statutory records, financial statements, and compliance reports.

Use ERP systems (Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Procore, Foundation, CMiC) and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.

Ensure strict adherence to company policies, confidentiality, and integrity standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business (mandatory).

Master’s degree (MBA/M.Com) preferred.

Certifications such as CCIFP or CMA are an advantage.

Experience
5–10+ years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to construction companies.

Proven ability to manage job costing, WIP, and project‑level accounts independently.

Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (Sage 300 CRE, Procore, Tally, QuickBooks).

Behavioural Requirements
Good conduct certificate/NOC required.

High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to honor full contract.

Physically fit to work in Africa under site conditions.
