Key responsibilities
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue by selling travel services and
packages to individual and corporate clients. This role involves understanding customer
needs, offering tailored travel solutions, and ensuring a seamless booking experience.
The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator with a passion for travel and a strong
sales mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Management
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calls, emails, and social media.
Convert leads into bookings by understanding client preferences and offering suitable
travel packages.
Upsell and cross-sell travel products (e.g., insurance, tours, and upgrades).
Customer Service
Provide expert advice on destinations, visa requirements, and travel insurance.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and post-sale support.
Maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Booking & Coordination
Use booking platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) to reserve flights, hotels, and
tours.
Coordinate with suppliers and partners to confirm availability and pricing.
Ensure all travel documents are accurate and delivered on time.
Reporting & Strategy
Track sales performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
Collaborate with marketing to promote seasonal offers and campaigns.
Stay updated on travel trends, competitor pricing, and industry news.
Desired candidate profile
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business, Marketing, or related field.
Experience:
1–3 years in travel sales, hospitality, or customer service.
Experience with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Preferred:
Multilingual abilities.
Familiarity with international travel regulations and visa processes.
Working Hours:
Standard working hours are 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
Work after office hours may be required and is subject to customer
requests.
Sunday work may also be required and is based on customer needs.
Flexibility is expected to accommodate client requirements.
