Key responsibilities
: The RF Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining radio frequency systems, with a strong focus on Motorola DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) solutions, including Capacity Max and TETRA technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in radio system planning, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy RF communication systems using Motorola DMR, including Capacity Max and TETRA.
- Configure, program, and manage Motorola radios, repeaters, and base stations.
- Conduct RF site surveys and coverage analysis to ensure optimal performance and compliance with client requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of RF systems to address issues related to connectivity, interference, and equipment failure.
- Collaborate with technical teams and clients to develop tailored RF solutions that meet project specifications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system schematics, configuration settings, and maintenance logs.
- Support the integration of RF systems with other communication networks and technologies.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users and internal staff on the operation and maintenance of Motorola DMR systems.
Desired candidate profile
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Motorola DMR systems, particularly Capacity Max and TETRA infrastructure.
- Proficiency in RF system design, frequency planning, and signal propagation analysis.
- Experience with RF testing tools such as spectrum analyzers, site analyzers, and signal generators.
- Familiarity with programming and configuring Motorola radios and related software tools (e.g., CPS, Radio Management Suite).
- Understanding of network protocols and system integration (e.g., IP networking, VoIP).
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance for RF systems in various regions.
Technical Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and optimization of Motorola DMR and TETRA systems.
- Ability to analyze complex RF data and resolve issues related to coverage, interference, and system performance.
- Experience with power budgeting, antenna selection, and transmission line analysis.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an RF Engineer with significant exposure to Motorola DMR systems.
- Certifications in Motorola DMR systems (e.g., Motorola Solutions Certification) are highly desirable.
