The Head of RF department Oversees engineering and technical design of Radio Frequency (RF)
engineering projects, such as deployment and maintenance of wireless networks, clients CPE
installation. Manages communication and coordination among different types of engineers
working on a project. Supervises project schedule, budget, and communications with head of IT for
project completion.
May also be tasked with developing new strategies or plans for improving the network in the
future. This could include anything from expanding the network to accommodate more users,
upgrading hardware or software, etc.

Head of IT tasks:

1. Supervise a team of engineers
2. Optimize existing systems to improve performance and capacity
3. Assist in budget preparation and expense control activities
4. Ensure field engineers follow design guidelines and installation procedures
5. Ensure to complete the assigned projects within timelines
6. Coordinate with sales manager on projects and delivery
7. Allocate workload to field engineers and assist them if necessary
8. Oversee system, site and power installation for new sites and perform testing.
9. Identify area of improvement and recommend improvements to existing system design
10. Handle emergency promptly and make escalations to respective department.

The Head of RF must report to the group RF manager for Strategic decisions related to the base
station’s frequencies, bandwidth allocation and network planning and design. He must present
reports on quarterly basis and identify risk and area of improvement, he and the group RF
manager must prepare a yearly budget for the department. In all other matters, the Head of RF
department reports to the General Manager.

A bachelor’s degree in related field
 A minimum 5 years’ experience
 Good knowledge of different business functions.
 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
 Highly motivated.
