Key responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the required materials and installation procedures.
Cut, bend, and assemble rebar to fit concrete forms, using hand tools or machinery.
Position and secure rebar using wire ties, clips, or welding equipment.
Inspect and verify the accuracy of rebar installations to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure proper placement of reinforcing steel within concrete structures.
Ensure adherence to safety standards on site.
Desired candidate profile
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Rebar Worker (Rebar Installer) in construction projects.
Mandatory experience working on DOD (Department of Defense) and DOS (Department of State) sites.
Proficiency in handling tools and equipment used in rebar installation.
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in demanding conditions.
