Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in asphalt concrete road construction and asphalt plant management. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of road construction projects, from initial planning to final execution, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team of professionals and efficiently operate project facilities, including crusher plants, asphalt plants, and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the entire lifecycle of asphalt concrete road construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers (geometry design, material, surveyor, hydrologist, geotechnical), contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
Manage and optimize the operation of crusher plants, asphalt plants, and construction equipment to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and addressing deviations promptly.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and environmental regulations.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex issues and challenges that arise during construction.
Mentor and supervise project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
More than 15 years of progressive experience in asphalt concrete road construction and asphalt plant management.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale road construction projects, from inception to completion.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project facilities effectively.
Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
