Responsible for managing day-to-day project and operational activities related to wagon maintenance, deployment, logistics
coordination and client support, ensuring safe, timely and efficient operations

Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee daily wagon maintenance and operational activities at site.
● Coordinate with CAMALCO and CAMRAIL operational teams for smooth execution of activities and ensure Customer
satisfaction.
● Monitor wagon availability, breakdowns, and maintenance turnaround time. Preventive maintenance as per schedule.
● Plan and coordinate manpower deployment.
● Coordinate with the India team for spares, consumables and technical support requirements.
● Track project progress and submit periodic operational and maintenance reports.
● Support inventory tracking and cost-control initiatives.
● Ensure compliance with local statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
● Lead site teams, contractors, and support staff to ensure effective execution and discipline
● Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions

Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).

• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Holding Valid Passport
• Proficiency in French language (Mandatory)

• 10–12 years of experience in Heavy Manufacturing Industry, project execution, or heavy engineering operations
• Experience in international projects or remote-site operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project reporting, maintenance planning and stakeholder management.
• Experience in managing site operations, manpower deployment, and contractor coordination.
• Familiarity with inventory management, spare parts planning and logistics coordination.
• Good understanding of safety, quality and statutory compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in international assignments, mining logistics or remote-site operations will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance/project management tools.
• Willingness to work in Cameroon
