Responsibilities:

1. Plan, execute, and oversee all phases of construction projects related to the underground metro station, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial targets.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, consultants, and other project team members, to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
4. Manage project risks and opportunities, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
5. Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder consultations, to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
6. Monitor project progress against established milestones and deliverables, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
7. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, implementing and enforcing appropriate safety protocols to protect workers and the public.
9. Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
10. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development.

Experience: 13-22 years

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the infrastructure sector, with specific experience in underground metro stations.
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
4. Extensive knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
6. Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
8. Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction projects, including safety and environmental regulations.
9. Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is highly desirable.
