Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise erection and commissioning of a new edible oil refinery.
• Execute the project in line with the delivery schedule, contract specifications and

conditions.

• Monitor day to day activities through weekly, monthly and quarterly progress meetings of

company, subcontractors, and partners to facilitate achievement of targets .

• Decide layout & Co-ordinate with the HSE, quality and technical teams through

management review meetings and expedite work within the project team.

• Ensure proper documentation by recording events leading to a change in the project

schedule on the part of the client, vendors, partners and contractors from the execution,
commercial and contractual points of view.

• Conduct periodic internal quality audits for piping, mechanical, instruments etc to verify

adequacy of the implementation of the quality management system.

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the plant ensuring productivity goals are reached

by way of increasing efficiency and cost reduction.

• Monitoring development with respect to cost, optimum resource utilization, time over

runs & quality compliance, evaluation production process & taking adequate corrective
action.

• Manpower handling and co-ordination with the inter & intra plant activities such as

process control, Quality checking, in process analysis during the plant run, raw material
availability & planning, packing of finished products with pre-packing analysis.

• Administer day-to-day operations and job responsibilities of the all the staff / inventory /

security in plant

Education:

• Overall Exp: 12-20 years of project / production experience in edible oil processing or

within F & B sector.

• BE/B.Tech level in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar as a minimum
• Additional qualification / certification in Edible Oil Processing.

Skills:

• Must have project management experience in edible oil industry
• Specific in depth experience in Crude & Refined oil production and packing.
• Production planning experience in Palm & Soybean.
• Excellent skills in communication, technical and HSE training.
• SAP Experience is additional
• Confident reporting to senior management
