Key responsibilities
The Production Line Supervisor will be responsible for managing and
supervising the daily operations of the gypsum board production line. This role
requires a hands-on approach to ensure that production targets are met, quality
standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will
have prior experience in the gypsum board industry, preferably within the Gulf
region, such as Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers to ensure efficient
and timely production.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet production
targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper
functioning and maintenance.
- Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the production process.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, materials used, and labor hours.
- Train and mentor production line staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that products meet the required
standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and
reduce waste.
Desired candidate profile
Qualifications:
Educational:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a
related field.
- Additional certifications in production management or industrial safety are a plus.
Practical:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the gypsum board manufacturing
industry.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the production line.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Prior experience working in the Gulf region, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
