1. Devise fruitful sourcing methodologies
2. Source profitable suppliers for APIs and Excipients
3. Negotiate to secure advantageous terms: Undertaking price negotiations with suppliers to finalize a competitive price
4. Coordination with Manufacturer for API & Finished Goods, Finalization of the order , Purchase order generation, Follow up till product Delivery
5. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses
6. Identification of suitable manufacturers – knowledge of manufacturer’s capabilities
7. Advanced knowledge of local and international market
8. Good understanding of the capabilities of the manufacturers – continuity of supply
9. Continuously evaluating performance of all the suppliers
10. Export of API’s & Responsible for sourcing and securing API on advantageous terms

EXPERIENCE:
7-8 years experience in procurement within pharmaceutical industry

Experience in API procurement, knowledge of the different types of API grades.
