Plant Technician Responsibilities:

Oversee equipment maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic aspects.
Direct maintenance programs to ensure timely and effective equipment usage.
Coordinate with management for efficient preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.
Operations:

Direct and coordinate daily operations of all equipment.
Lead daily plant operations, including maintenance and logistics support.
Monitor equipment functionality and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
Ensure adherence to plant safety procedures.
Procure and maintain spare parts for equipment.
Schedule servicing for all equipment and troubleshoot breakdowns.
Maintain records of equipment service hours and update equipment register.
Coordinate equipment certification and supervise operations efficiency.
Perform troubleshooting and meter/gauge readings at regular intervals.
Reporting:

Supervise and maintain proper cleaning and maintenance records.
Document equipment data such as operation, fuel consumption, and voltage.
Safety Regulations:

Adhere to safety and personal protective equipment policies and procedures.
Practice total safety in all operations to achieve optimal results.
Follow Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
Teamwork:

Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks.
Implement Lean Six Sigma principles to improve performance.
Maintenance:

Ensure effective maintenance cost utilization by eliminating resource waste.
Maintain proper usage and storage of equipment and machine parts.

ducational Qualifications:

BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field in construction.
Certifications:

Possession of Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT).
Functional/Technical Skills:

Knowledge of principles and practices of civil construction.
Proficiency in English communication and writing.
Exceptional organizational skills, both electronic and with hard file documents.
Relevant Experience:

12 years of experience in construction.
Experience in field engineering layout in the commercial construction industry is preferred.
