Key Responsibilities:

Bathe, brush, and dry pets using appropriate techniques and products for different coat types
Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
Clip and style pet fur according to breed standards or owner preferences
Assess pets for skin conditions, parasites, or health concerns and communicate findings to owners
Maintain detailed grooming records and scheduling
Sanitize tools and work areas between appointments
Handle animals safely and compassionately, especially anxious or difficult pets
Provide customer service including consultations on grooming needs and maintenance
Operate and maintain grooming equipment such as clippers, dryers, and tubs

1-2 years of professional grooming experience
Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards

Patience and gentle handling techniques with animals
