We are seeking a highly skilled Pattern Cutter to join our team. This role is central to
translating design concepts into precise, production-ready garments while maintaining
the highest standards of fit, structure, and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities

1. Pattern Cutting & Development

● Develop accurate patterns from sketches, references, or existing garments
● Interpret creative direction and translate abstract ideas into technically sound
patterns
● Execute flat pattern cutting across a range of garments including dresses, tops,
and tailored pieces
● Ensure patterns are clean, precise, and production-ready

1. Fit & Construction

● Work closely with the design team during fittings to assess and correct fit issues
● Execute pattern amendments efficiently while maintaining design integrity
● Ensure consistency in fit across styles and sizes
● Support garment construction decisions with technical input

1. Fabric & Technical Expertise

● Understand fabric behavior including drape, stretch, weight, and structure
● Adapt patterns based on fabric characteristics without compromising design
● Maintain high attention to detail and precision across all work

1. Collaboration & Workflow

● Work closely with designers, tailors, and production teams
● Support sample development and resolve construction challenges
● Maintain organized pattern documentation and updates
● Work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality

Requirements

• 36 years of experience in pattern cutting (preferably womenswear/luxury)
• Strong understanding of garment construction and fit
• Experience working with a variety of fabrics and silhouettes
• High attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
