Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented developer who is expected to analyze, design, code, implement, test and support Oracle Application Express custom-built application environments.
Apex developer must have the ability to architect, design, install, and configure large, complex Apex applications with replication and high-availability on several Oracle versions and APEX versions. APEX developer must have the ability to migrate existing applications, pages and code modules thru dev/qa/prod instances and experience migrating entire applications to new APEX environments. Support activities include analyzing, testing, and implementing application designs to support various business applications. Familiarity with Hardware and Operating Systems is needed to complete this job function.
Extensive experience with use of Plugins, development of plugins, dynamic actions, User session
Good hands-on experience with jQuery, HTML, CSS to deploy custom solutions.
Complete understanding of Apex architecture, perform Apex upgrade and support Apex server architecture
Coding & reviews to create/ enhance Packages, Procedures etc. as per the design. Post-delivery follow-ups of tasks executed by team. Perform internal reviews for deliverables. Maintain and monitor the deliverable status. Log and track issues with development. Coordinate with different teams for quick resolution of problem
Manage web page layouts with APEX templates and themes
Mentoring new team members and to train them on functionality of application. Ability to work in Agile environment

Bachelors degree in an Information Technology Discipline or equivalent experience in IT
5+ years of experience with Oracle database, PL/SQL
5+ years experience with Oracle APEX (5.0 and Above)
5+ years of experience with web technologies
Experience with consuming and authoring RESTful services
Oracle Developer or Oracle Apex certification is a MUST
