We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist with a BSc in Optometry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care, including vision examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of eye conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough vision tests and eye examinations using specialized equipment.
Diagnose visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
Provide treatment and management plans for eye diseases and disorders.
Educate patients on proper eye care practices and preventive measures.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for specialized treatments.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Stay updated with advancements in optometry and eye care techniques.
Assist in the fitting and adjustment of eyewear.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Optometry from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the relevant professional experience in optometry practice.
Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and using diagnostic equipment.
Strong understanding of visual disorders and eye diseases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in diagnosis and treatment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
