Key responsibilities
- Operate MRI and CT scanning equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Position patients properly to ensure the best possible images are obtained.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Evaluate images for quality and ensure they meet the required standards for diagnosis.
- Maintain equipment and perform regular quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Keep accurate records of patient procedures and imaging results.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.
Desired candidate profile
- MRI / CT Scan Radiographer
- At least 5 years of experience on MRI and CT; preferably Toshiba (for CT) and Siemens (for MRI) equipment
- Bachelor of Science in Radiology or Bachelor of Science in Radiography from a reputable university / college in India with knowledge of pathology and physics
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willing to relocate to Ghana, West Africa
