Scope of position:
The Mold Polisher is responsible for Polish and finish of injection molds/tooling in
accordance with specifications.
Responsibility:
 Polish and finish of injection molds/tooling in accordance with specifications
 Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications sheets, and
detailed instructions to polish and finish intricate Injection Mold and Tooling
 Utilize all tools needed to perform essential polishing and finishing functions
including di-profilers, ultrasonic polishers, air powered hand grinders, hand tools
and grinders, chain falls, carts, electric lifts, and all polishing mediums (to include
stone, compound, and diamond paste)
 Utilize inspection tools and gauges to verify intricate details of tooling
 Accurate documentation and record keeping on all molds
 Promote good employee relations and high morale
 Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to
achieve the best results possible
 Follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
 Supervision, qualification and training of local staff
 All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager

Three (3) years of mold polishing/finishing experience
 Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
 Ability to demonstrate polishing techniques
 Ability to use hand and power polishing tools
 Diploma in relevant field.
 Good Speak and write in English
