Overview:
We are hiring a Mining Manager-Geologist with extensive experience in mining operations. The candidate will oversee the exploration, extraction, and operational management of our Red Ruby mine in Mozambique and our Diamond mine in Lesotho.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of mining operations, including exploration, extraction, and resource management.
Conduct geological surveys, sampling, and drilling programs to assess mineral reserves and develop strategic mining plans.
Oversee safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production and resource extraction.
Supervise and mentor mining and geology teams on-site to ensure efficient operations.
Prepare detailed reports on mining activities, geological findings, and project progress.
Develop and implement cost-effective mining techniques and methods to maximize resource yield.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mining operations, with specific experience in Red Ruby or Diamond mining highly desirable.
Proven leadership experience in managing mining teams and operations.
Strong knowledge of geological mapping, resource estimation, and mining software.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Red Ruby mining experience preferred.
Lesotho: Diamond mining experience preferred.
