Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate high levels of Safety performance in every aspect of the role
2. Adhere to company policies and ethics
3. Review theoretical GET and undercarriage opportunity
4. Visit customers with territory staff, develop inspection and management plans
5. Provide training and develop processes to measure GET / Undercarriage, wear life, performance and

consumption planning

1. Develop consumption, wear life and cost analysis for all types of wear parts and present finding to Customer and

suppliers

1. Analyze problems/opportunities and recommend sales strategies to improve GET & U/C sales efforts
2. Develop, implement and track performance of annual GET & U/C marketing plan
3. Identify the most cost effective GET and Undercarriage for any application, identify alternative undercarriage

and GET which can be supplied to satisfy customer demand and effectively use Mantrac stock.

1. Develop preferred lines of GET and undercarriage that Mantrac will stock, develop stocking plans and

promotional material

1. Analyse customer fleets, identifying fleets of machines to target for undercarriage sales
2. Visit customers with PSSRs, make measurements, analyse date and make recommendations to customers

regarding:-
a) Undercarriage replacement time
b) Wear ratios of undercarriage components
c) The wear parts best suited for the customers application and for the undercarriage to wear as a set

1. Submit quarterly report summarizing significant GET & U/C activity and relaying update of marketing plan

objectives status

1. Identify customers where competitive tests to prove Caterpillar undercarriage to be less expense per hour than

competitors. Agree discounts with Cat for test iron, implement tests, follow up and present results.

1. Identify customers where competitive tests on GET could prove that Cat GET is more cost effective, agreed

discounts with Cat for GET tests, implement test, follow the operation and report results

1. Analyze and report significant competitive activities affecting sales of Caterpillar GET & U/C
2. Report product problems to Caterpillar as well as specific new product needs
3. Work with Training Department to improve GET & U/C sales effectiveness of PSSRs
4. Develop and maintain detailed information concerning GET & U/C usage and practices
5. Conduct customer meetings concerning Caterpillar GET & U/C product features/benefits
6. Conduct field follow and field tests on Caterpillar GET & U/C product
7. Develop and maintain GET & U/C sales/technical library
8. Submit Competitive Parts Reports and general competitive information to Caterpillar

Ensure all operations are carried out safely, including demonstrating compliance to company safety standards.
Identify, develop and implement GET & U/C marketing strategy.
Increase Caterpillar GET & U/C sales, POPS-C, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Visit customer sites and carry out in the iron activities to identify and report:
All GET & U/C opportunities
Advise on the best GET and undercarriage systems, parts and components for each application
Document activities of GET & U/C competitors
Identify and report GET & U/C Product performance problems
Train dealer personnel in GET & U/C sales
Train customers in Caterpillar GET & U/C product installation, management, features &benefits.

Job Requirements
Education:  Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience:  5 years of experience in wear parts sales and marketing
Languages:  English
