Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and market conditions to optimize product assortments.
Plan and forecast inventory requirements across all product lines to minimize overstock or stockouts.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
Monitor product performance, identify slow-moving items, and coordinate markdowns or promotions.
Ensure merchandise displays align with brand guidelines and seasonal themes.
Coordinate with the buying and sales teams to align merchandise strategies with business goals.
Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and profitability.
Supervise a team of merchandisers and provide training and performance feedback.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum of 5 years experience in merchandise management, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage inventory effectively and reduce costs.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Proficiency in merchandising software/tools and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
