- Knowledge and background in civil construction.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Desired candidate profile
MAIN DUTIES:
- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical maintenance teams and relevant
technical staff.
- Develop systematic and comprehensive maintenance programs.
- Oversee the installation, repair and maintenance of plywood and mill
operational machinery, the hydro power plant, water pumping stations and the
associated equipment.
- Ensure related materials and spare parts are available and provide
procurement with timely requests.
- Manage responsibilities of the role with business acumen for operational
efficiency, performance improvements and productivity gains.
- Maintain safe working practices and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and train staff to ensure improvement in competency
- Other duties as required.
