Key responsibilities

Work with shipping lines, CHA, and freight forwarders for smooth export operations.
Handle booking, customs declaration, bill of lading confirmation, rebates, and other foreign trade
operations.
Maintain daily follow-up on stuff/unstuff containers and ensure smooth export movements.
Ensure accurate preparation of shipping-related documents (invoices, declarations, inspection
reports).
Maintain complete tracking and records of freight, shipments, and inspections.
Responsible for overseeing the entire pre- and post-shipping/inspection process. Coordinate with the
inspection department for timely clearances.
Monitor shipments closely to ensure compliance with export regulations.
Work with user departments and suppliers to increase productivity and ensure the timely delivery of
goods/services.
Coordinate with teams to resolve shipping or documentation issues. Support overall export operations
by aligning with internal departments.
Use MS Office and other day-to-day computer programs to manage documentation and reporting.
Implement advanced Excel tools for reporting and analysis.
Track and report on shipments, pending issues, and operational updates.
Publish regular status reports for management and concerned teams.
Desired candidate profile
Apply strong shipping/logistics knowledge to handle high-volume shipments (up to 800
containers/month).
Relationship management and manpower management skills.
Utilize problem-solving and generate new ideas for faster supply chain execution, improvement, and
cost control.
Excellent communication skills – English mandatory; knowledge of Hindi or Mandarin is a plus.
Good command over MS Excel, ERP systems.
Multitasker with strong time management and attention to detail.
Experience with CHA/Freight Forwarder, at least 2 years team leading, 6+ years industry experience,
strong in Exim/export management.
Exposure to African markets (East, West, Central Africa) is highly desirable
Go-getter, self-motivated, strong communication and decision-making skills, team management,
proactive problem-solving mindset
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or related field
MBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management / International Business (preferred)
Work Experience
8–10 years total, min. 6 -8 years relevant experience in International Shipping and Logistic operations,
preferably in FMCG Export-Import trading, 2+ years in team management
