1. Experience with containerization and virtualization (Kubernetes, Docker).
2. Building and configuring Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Core-DNS, Kube Proxy, Ingress, etc. and leverage k8s for deploying services such as Kafka, Spark and other distributed service.
3. Experienced with deploying stateful applications / Databases on Kubernetes
4. Prior knowledge of resource management, Security, Storage/persistent volume, Load management.
5. Experienced with monitoring frameworks for Kubernetes.
6. Good to have experience in handling multiple Kubernetes clusters under single umbrella (Kubernetes Federation).
7. Good knowledge of automation and configuration management framework like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
8. Automating the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more. Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications.
9. Troubleshooting and optimizing containerized workload deployments for clients.
10. Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, primarily administration of Linux based distros like Debian, Enterprise Linux (Centos or RHEL), Fedora and SUSE Linux.
11. Should be able to understand different programming languages and write scripts. Proficient in Unix scripting, patching and security.
12. Experience in Performance Management of Servers, Storage, Databases, Applications tuning and optimization.
13. Evaluate new technology options and vendor products to use for distributed system.

OpenShift/K8 Administrator:

• Proficiency with Kubernetes (OpenShift+AKS) - administration, configuration and DevOps
• Proficiency with OpenShift (setting up, configuring, managing and troubleshooting clusters)
• Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins
• CKA certification required
• Knowledge developing custom operators using GO language
• Knowledge of databases (MongoDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of Azure
