1. To own, maintain the IT Projects Quality Assurance

framework and Operating model for the Bank.

1. To ensure continued applicability of the framework and

model for Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid projects.

1. To oversee adequacy and effectiveness of the QA

processes, key controls, deliverables and artifacts and
periodically evaluate them for improvement

1. To undertake the IT Project Criticality Assessment

process, recommend the projects for inclusion in the
annual QA Review Calendar, seek approval for the
calendar and ensure timely implementation of the same

1. To engage project teams on a timely manner to ensure

scheduling and implementation of the QA Review
Calendar is not impacted

1. To plan QA review resources according to project type,

criticality and QA planning calendar

1. To monitor governance and regulatory developments

and ensure alignment of QA governance model, policies
and procedures

1. To provide updates to GT senior management and

governance bodies on QA-related matters, risks and
areas of concern as identified from time to time

1. To immediately escalate issues and risks that are

affecting project team engagement on QA reviews to GT
senior management

• 12+ yrs of IT and IT QA

experience

• Strong leadership skills
