Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Consult with patients, assess cardiovascular health, develop personalized treatment plans, and manage long-term follow-up.
Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and echocardiograms to diagnose blockages and measure heart function.
Interventional Procedures: Perform angioplasty, stent placement (PCI), and other catheter-based treatments to open blocked arteries and repair structural defects.
Team Collaboration: Work with surgeons, internal medicine, and other specialists for integrated patient care.
Emergency Response: Participate in on-call rotations for urgent cases like STEMI (heart attack).
Education & Research: Mentor medical students/residents and stay current with new techniques.
