Key responsibilities
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders for wear, leakage, or damage.
Disassemble, clean, and repair cylinders including piston rods, seals, and end caps.
Perform re-chroming, honing, and polishing of rods and barrels.
Replace seals, bearings, and other components to restore functionality.
Conduct pressure testing and quality checks after repair.
Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
Collaborate with workshop team to ensure timely delivery of repaired units.
Follow safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
Desired candidate profile
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in hydraulic cylinder repair and maintenance.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, seals, and machining processes.
Skilled in troubleshooting hydraulic failures and conducting preventive maintenance.
Familiarity with re-chroming, honing, polishing, and precision repair techniques.
Skills:
Ability to maintain detailed service logs and reports.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Safety & Compliance:
Knowledge of safety standards and ability to ensure compliance in workshop operations.
