Key responsibilities
eavy equipment mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain range of heavy-duty construction equipment like CAT, Volvo, MB, Bomag, Vogel, Grove, Liebherr…Etc.
Candidate should have proven experience working with heavy construction machinery, able to troubleshoot, repair and service machinery with expert care following the manufacturer’s standards.
Expected Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Inspect trucks, cranes, bulldozers, excavators …etc. and other heavy construction equipment for proper performance.
Read Manuals and Technical Hydraulic drawings.
Diagnose faults, using manufacturer & OEM diagnostic tools. (ET, Star diagnosis e.t.c)
Adjust and replace faulty parts as per manufacturer standard.
Repair & Overhaul damaged parts / Components.
Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy-duty vehicles.
Able to perform major repair, Overhaul Engines, Transmissions & Hydraulic systems.
Attend to breakdowns as reported and on immediate basis.
Report damaged or faulty equipment to management.
Ensure that all repairs are conducted as defined by manufacturer.
Ensure work practice conforms to safety regulations and procedures.
Ensure order and cleanliness of workshop facilities and all equipment.
