Key responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM) to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, logistics, inventory management, supplier relationships, and demand planning, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Oversee procurement, sourcing, and supplier management to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Manage logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations for timely and accurate deliveries.
Optimize inventory levels, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Implement technology-driven solutions (ERP, SCM software, AI-based forecasting) to enhance supply chain operations.
Analyze supply chain data, track KPIs, and identify areas for process improvements and cost reductions.
Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Work closely with internal departments (sales, finance, operations, production) to align supply chain activities with business goals.
Desired candidate profile
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum [X] years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, procurement strategies, and logistics operations.
Experience in ERP and SCM software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Understanding of global supply chain trends, risk management, and cost-saving initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CIPS, or similar credentials.
Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process optimization methodologies.
Background in handling multi-location, multi-industry supply chain networks.
