Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Nurse – Oncology to lead and manage the oncology nursing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, overseeing nursing operations, and implementing best practices in oncology nursing and chemotherapy administration. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach to cancer care.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the oncology nursing team, ensuring efficient and compassionate patient care.
Oversee chemotherapy administration, pain management, and palliative care services.
Ensure compliance with oncology protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient treatment plans.
Train and mentor nurses on oncology best practices, chemotherapy protocols, and emergency response.
Monitor patient progress and address complications or adverse reactions.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of treatments.
Coordinate staff schedules, workload distribution, and resource allocation.
Participate in cancer awareness, patient education, and support programs.
Implement quality improvement initiatives in oncology nursing care.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN) from a recognized institution.
Valid RN license and certification in oncology nursing (OCN or equivalent)
