Group Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.

Education : Mechanical Engineer with Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain
Management / Material Management

Age Limit : Below 45 years

Experience : Minimum 12-14 years of Experience Logistics and Supply Chain
activities. 4-6 years of experience in manufacturing company is must.
Key Skills and Expertise:

• Plan and implement Overall Supply Chain strategy
• Sourcing and Procurement: timely sourcing of material for production and plant activities. Co-ordinate and liaison with Accounts and Finance team for timely payment to vendors and suppliers.

Vendor Management including development of new vendors and managing existing vendors, Negotiating with suppliers and vendors for best prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines. Should be able to do Cost savings in procurement.

• Raw Material Planning: Preparing Annual Raw material requirement and procurement plan in consultation with Production and sales team and management.

Work closely with Business Unit Heads and Production Planning Team on Demand and material forecasting, Production Planning in consultation with PPC for requirement of raw material, spares, consumables etc.

• Logistics management - End-to-end tracking of goods/service delivery. Rate negotiations with transporters, Shipment consolidation, Returns and damaged goods management
• Inventory Management: Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the plant and at depots. Maintain Minimum stock level
• Monitor and supervise Purchase Indent / Purchase Requisition (PR) in ERP / SAP system, preparation of Purchase order etc.

• Prepare Monthly and Quarterly MIS reports for management

Technical Skills :
 Must poses full technical knowledge and experience of composite textile mill raw materials and finished products
 Textile Machines / Equipment / Raw Materials
 Dyes and Chemicals : Must poses thorough knowledge various types of dyes for Dyeing + printing ( Disperse, Vat , Reactive, Sulphur, Direct etc. ) Various Auxilaries , processing, finishing, Coating, Waterproofing Chemicals and agents etc
 Thorough knowledge and experience of SAP MM & PP Module
