Desired candidate profile

Mathematics: Geophysicists use mathematics to interpret data and create models. They also use mathematics to determine the best locations for seismic testing and exploration. Mathematics is also important for interpreting data and creating models.

Data analysis: Geophysicists use data analysis skills to interpret the results of their experiments. They may use data analysis to identify the location of a mineral deposit, determine the best location for a drilling operation or evaluate the results of a drilling operation.
